Kercock
Description:
Left and Right bank fishing as directed
Directions:
Leave Perth via the A93 towards Blairgowrie, and cross the River Isla just south of the beech hedge. Take the first left to cross the Tay at Kinclaven bridge and continue of this road for a couple of miles or so. You will see a wood on the left hand side, and the access road is marked Kercock Beats on the right hand side after this wood. If you pass a small beech hedge on the right you have gone too far. Continue down the access road for about a mile and the Lower beat hut is situated down past the upper beat beat hut on the left hand side. Alternatively, you can leave Perth via the A 9 north, go through Luncarty, Stanley towards Murthly. Take the sign for Kinclaven in Murthly, going over the level crossing. Continue for about 4 miles, going over a low down narrow bridge, and passing a small beech hedge on your left. The access road is first left after this beech hedge.
