Directions:
Hilton Farm is accessed by going out the old Edinburgh road from Perth (not the M90). Go out past the prison, past Tesco and carry on. You will come to a wee stretch of dual carriageway - continue on and the road descends and bends sharply to the left. After going round this sharp bend, carry on for approximately 500 yards and the next farm road on the right is signed Hilton Farm. Take the farm road which is tarmac and continue to the farm. On reaching the farm do not turn left or right but go straight on through the steading, turning sharply to the left. Keep very very slow. The parking area should be on front of you to the right. There are often loads of old cars parked there. Keep the car to designated areas.
You will see a railway bridge to the south. There is a farm road leading to the railway bridge - walk along that and when you get to the end you can fish anywhere left bank (Perth side) from the railway bridge downstream to the north eastern corner of the horseshoe shaped field which is called "the loop”, on the map it is marked Hilton Pouch.
